WHAT'S NEW HE’S BACK!!! As you may know, Dr. Ken Speltz has returned to work full time now. His back surgery to repair the broken vertebra went well in October 2007 and so has his recovery. As of January 3rd, 2008 he was given approval by his doctor to go back to work full time, resuming his normal duties. Of course he is not supposed to lift heavy items but that is why we have purchased a new exam table. The new exam table is a lift table. It collapses to the ground to allow your pet to walk right on then raises up to waist height for comfortable work. This lets your pet avoid the stress of being picked up and gives your pet a feeling of being in control of where he or she goes since walking on the table is his/her decision. The table can hold up to 300 pounds and stop at any height to allow for the most comfortable working position for everyone – your pet, you, the doctor, and the staff members.
